This is pretty awesome. The headline pretty much says it all: Reddit user morphinapg has taken the time to make movies based on all three Uncharted games.

One of the best parts of the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 is that they’re pretty YouTube friendly, so if you feel like having the next few days to watching a movie based on (and made entirely out of ) the Uncharted game franchise, here you go. Having only recently gotten a PS3, and totally sucking at the Uncharted demo I downloaded, I haven’t really gotten to check out what many consider to be some very fine game-based storytelling. I have a feeling I’ll be enjoying these between episodes of Mad Men over the next few weeks…

As you can see, we’ve got the first Uncharted above, while Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 are below. The movies run at 114, 178, and a whopping 196 minutes, respectively. So if nothing else, stretch out your legs, and stay awhile. Thanks morphinapg! I also don’t know how to say your name out loud!

YouTube user LaxxSC has brought the interwebs a unique fan-made one-year anniversary for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty and it is remarkable what the game has accomplished after its release. It has become an international sport, usurping the title of Korea’s national pastime, a bar set only by its predecessor. Plus it has sucked countless hours out of gamers lives worldwide.  The video recounts the release and some insane competitive gaming moments that have occurred over the past year. With the releasing of the future StarCraft games, who knows what the future will bring.

Well done, fellows. This short clip makes me think that if you gave these guys a real budget, they’d actually make a good movie based on a video game.
