Microsoft Reveals Xbox One’s App Launch Lineup

xbox one apps

The other day, Sony revealed its lineup of third-party media apps that would launch with the PlayStation 4 next week. Not one to be outdone, Microsoft today let loose its own list of apps for the Xbox One launch later this month—and included all the different apps that’d be available in the console’s various launch markets.

Want to see the full list? It’s right here. I’ll hit up our English speaking territories in the lists below (because, you know, I write in English):

There are some apps on there I’ve never heard of. “Target Ticket”? What the hell is that? One thing I did notice—Machinima’s app is in a lot of those territories. What gives, Sony? Too good for a Machinima app?

Oh, wait, it’s an exclusive deal with Microsoft or something?

I’ll be honest with you: I have no idea. No one tells me anything around here.

But anyway, if you want a refresher in how the Machinima app is going to work on your fancy Xbox One, take a look at this link right here. If you want to hear Chris Lockey yammering at you about how to play your games better, then this is the app for you. Personally, I choose to ignore the guy. I mean, he prefers Oates to Hall!

What a dummy.
