Back in June, Microsoft and 343 Industries announced Halo: Spartan Assault, a Windows 8-exclusive digital title that was less FPS Halo and more birds-eye strategy game. Well, if you were one of the people sad that you couldn’t get your hands on it because you lacked the appropriate Windows 8 gadget, the news today is good: Microsoft has announced via press release that the game will be heading to Xbox 360 and Xbox One this December. Huzzah!
Considering the Windows 8 version cost $6.99, expect the price for the Xbox versions to have a similar price tag. Furthermore, the Xbox versions of the game will sport a multiplayer mode—which requires a subscription to Xbox LIVE Gold to enjoy. Other than that? Well…it’s a downloadable PC game being ported to consoles. So do with that what you will.
