Fix Coming for Game Breaking Bug in Pokemon X & Y
A wise man once said: mo’ money, mo’ problems. In the case of the recent money-printing game releases Grand Theft Auto V and Pokemon X & Y, that adage has proven to be pretty true, indeed. In the case of the latter, it seems as though there’s a game-breaking bug that’s been corrupting save files. But apparently Nintendo is on the case, and is working on a fix. Pika-PHEW!
The problem comes, apparently, when some European and Japanese gamers try to save while in “Lumiose City.” That sounds like a PRETTY HUGE bug, so it’s good to know that Nintendo is working to, you know, fix it. Probably would’ve been better if it never left the door with that problem, but what are you gonna do?
According to NintendoLife, the company has posted on its Japanese website that a fix is on the way, and that in the meantime, gamers should only save while in buildings, rather than on the mean, corrupted streets of Lumiose.
Take that as a life lesson, kids. When saving out in the REAL WORLD, make sure you’re inside a building. Or something.
