The season pass for Gearbox’s Borderlands 2 is over and done with—but that isn’t stopping Gearbox and 2K Games from releasing more DLC for fans of Pandora. According to a press release published by Gearbox today, gamers can look forward to the “Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2: Digistruct Peak Challenge.”
That DLC, which will cost $5, will raise the level cap from 61 to 72, will offer up a new map, and a mode that’ll let you fight “overpowered” enemies. A post on Eurogamer adds that Gearbox has plans to bring back T.K. Baha from the original Borderlands for the “Headhunter Pack.” No word on how much that’ll cost or just when we can expect it, though the post speculates that the planned inclusion of Jacques O’Lantern as a boss will peg it for a Halloween release window.
Said Gearbox CEO andy Pitchford in the press release:
“The development team at Gearbox Software is very proud of the content included in the Season Pass, but we want our fans to know we’re not finished with Pandora yet. Soon Vault Hunters will be able to take all six Borderlands 2 characters to powerful new levels, while outfitting them with the most badass heads and skins to date.”
There you go. More Borderlands 2. Get ready. Are you ready? Get ready.
