Hotline Miami Probably Coming to PS3 and Vita Next Week

The Sony-platform ports of one of last year’s most critically praised games, Hotline Miami, will arrive pretty shortly. According to the Twitter account for the game, the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of Hotline Miami should be launching sometime next week—though there isn’t much in the way of more specific information.

Here are the illuminating tweets, for you to enjoy:

Moreover, the game will feature cross-buy compatibility, so if you buy it on one platform, you’ll have access to the game (and all your progress) on the other, much the same way PlayStation gamers can enjoy Retro City Rampage on both devices. And, come to think of it, they’re both kind of similar in their brutal, top-down perspective violence. So that’s a thing.

I didn’t get a chance to play Hotline Miami on the PC yet…but now that I know I’ll be able to go on a killing spree from the safety of my cozy bed with my PlayStation Vita, well, there aren’t really any more excuses, are there?
