Did you watch the Nintendo Direct broadcast from last Friday? If you did, chances are you were monumentally bored by the lack of announcements or information regarding…anything. New Sonic games? Virtual Console titles? Super boring.
But with E3 right around the corner—and the seemingly mixed reaction from the Xbox One reveal this week, Nintendo’s giving it another try. The next Nintendo Direct broadcast is set for June 11, 10 a.m. Eastern, 7 a.m. Pacific, in which we’ll learn “updates about future Wii U games.” Hey! That sounds great. I would love to know more about future Wii U games. Also: I haven’t turned on my Wii U in like a month. What’s that about? I would like some games, is what I’m saying.
Chances are pretty good we’ll catch a glimpse of titles that folks will be able to sample at E3, as well as at kiosks at Best Buys all over the place. We know we’ll probably get a look at the new 3D Mario title for the Wii U, as well as the new Smash Bros. Anything else you really want to hear about? Any guesses? Maybe something NEW AND EXCITING?
Start your guesses here.
