The long-awaited Rayman Legends—which was originally going to be a Wii U exclusive, but is now scheduled to hit Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this September—may now be joining yet another platform, truly warping the definition of the word “exclusive.” According to a post on Joystiq, a PlayStation Vita version f the game has been listed on the website of Spanish retailer FNAC, with a released ate of August 29.
The listing is still up, though it’s called “Title to be confirmed.” The description—after Google Translate is through with it—reads as follows:
“Rayman, who was named platformer of the year and has won numerous artistic and musical, is back in a new adventure. Michel Ancel, creator of Rayman, Beyond Good & Evil and the Raving Rabbids line, provides all their creativity to this new and exciting platform.”
Other than this, though, there’s been no such confirmation from Ubisoft that the game would be coming to the Vita, so take this with a grain of salt. Considering how quickly Rayman Legends went from Wii U-only to two other platforms, I wouldn’t be surprised if a Vita version was around the corner. And in that same vein, why not a 3DS version too? It happened for Rayman Origins.
