Capcom and WayForward Announce DuckTales Remastered

As reported by Joystiq, Capcom will publish a remaster of the NES game DuckTales. The remake will include re-drawn sprites, new voice-over, and come to the XBLA, PSN, and Wii U eShop.

According to the official post on Capcom Unity, this remaster will include voice work from all the original cast members. Even Alan Young will return as the immortal voice of Scrooge McDuck.

AND. There’s even a large vat of money you can swim around in.

This arrangement is unbelievably cozy. Capcom has demonstrated a love of re-releasing their catalogue, and WayForward are masters of reincarnating old seires (A Boy and his Blob, Double Dragon Neon).

We’re obvious fans of DuckTales on the show. In case you didn’t know until know…
