Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Patch Will Disable Multiplayer Region-Lock
Capcom has announced a content patch for the Nintendo Wii U version of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate that will unlock multiplayer across North American and European servers as well as add off-TV play for the GamePad.
The decision to disable region-lock across the game’s multiplayer was widely “in response to community feedback,” Capcom mentioned in a press release this afternoon. No official release date has been given for the patch’s dispatch, but Capcom says to expect it in April.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will launch simultaneously for Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS on March 19 in North America and March 22 in Europe. There are currently demos available for both versions of the game should you find yourself craving to start the monster hunting a tad early.
