Thomas Was Alone Coming to PS3 and Vita
The PlayStation Blog announced today that Thomas Was Alone, the abstract-shape-platfomer, is heading for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita this spring. The game will be Cross-Buy compatible, meaning that if you buy it on one platform, you’ll be able to play it on the other as well. And, well, that’s awesome.
If you’re wondering what the game is like, it’s an interesting take on the platformer genre, enjoying some meta-commentary and narration by Danny Wallace and some interesting-looking mechanics. If you haven’t yet, be sure to take a look at the trailer at the top of the post. According to the PS Blog, the Vita version will integrate some touch-screen controls, adding a bit more oomph to the package.
No word on when the game will be coming out other than the spring-time window, nor is there any information about the price of the game. But chances are it’ll be affordable, and probably pretty worth it. I know I’m looking forward to it.
