Wii U Pro Controller Now Windows & Mac Compatible

Seems like someone took five from hating on the Wii U to homebrew connectivity software for the Wii U Pro Controller to Windows and Mac. It’s not perfect just yet — the analogue sticks don’t register as analogue but digital switches — but hey it’s a great start.

Amusingly, this means that full virtual console support hit Windows and Mac before the Wii U. Ain’t that a kick in the beanbag?

Either way the process looks simple: just add the controller as a bluetooth device then run the application. You can download it for Windows and Mac.

If you haven’t had a chance to use the controller pro, I gotta say it’s extremely comfortable. It takes a while to get used to the swapped button / right analogue coming from the 360, but it feels great once you adjust.

Think it works with any cheap ass Bluetooth dongle? PS3 controller is extremely pick, I still haven’t managed to make then work.
