Now that we’re all waiting to hear what Sony’s got planned for their February 20 announcement, all people can talk about is next-gen projects that are just itching to get announced. According to a post on Japanese site GameSpark, the developer behind the Sony-exclusive Killzone franchise is hard at work on a new installment in the series slated to be a launch game for the PlayStation 4.
I won’t bother quoting the site, since Google Translate isn’t quite perfect yet. But the gist of it is that an anonymous source says that Guerilla is working on Killzone 4, set to launch with the PlayStation 4 console, which is rumored to be coming sometime this year.
Since Killzone 3 came out two years ago, and Guerilla Games has only announced a Vita project since then, it stands to reason that the studio’s been working on something this whole time. It’s as good a bet as any that a PlayStation 4 launch title is what’s coming next.
What do you think?
Thanks for the tip, 6souls.
