Brett Ratner Working on Farmville TV Show
Over a year ago, it was reported that a movie based on that dumb Facebook game Farmville was in the works. As it turns out, Brett Ratner, the guy behind the Rush Hour movies, Tower Heist, and X-Men: The Last Stand (and all around douchebag) is working on an animated Farmville television series.
This is what Ratner said about the project, according to the Wall Street Journal:
“Farmville is one of the most exciting brands out there today and its cross-platform opportunities are endless. I am thrilled to be expanding the brand with existing fans and also engaging a whole new audience.”
Ugh, you suck so hard, Brett Ratner.
The show will, I guess, be about farming or something. Will this be funny? Ironic? Will they be little pixel-art farmers who poke each other? Will it be for children? I don’t even know how or why this is happening. I mean, I know I should be cynical about the propensity for any and every license to be milked until there’s nothing left but a chalky, powdery residue, but I don’t even know how this is going to happen.
Barf.

Farmville the movie is about some guy who plays farmville and must create a farm to compete with his rival for the love of some woman he met on-line. Watch this amazing, tearful, action packed family adventure with big named actors like Christian Bale, Farmville is co-directed by legendary director Micheal Bay, who made moving dramas such as Tranformers. This movie will make you orgasm. With a shocking plot twist! ( The woman is a man and really his 10 year old brother” Watch in 3D now, why no 2D? Fuck you, that’s why.
