New Call of Duty Announced, Surprise Everybody

The skies are blue, the grass is green, and another entry in the smash-hit franchise Call of Duty is arriving this year.

Activision, publisher of the series, announced during its recent earnings call that a new Call of Duty title is slated for release in 2013, and will release on (presumably) Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Wii U. However, with the likely launch of new consoles this year, the game very well could be a launch title on whatever hardware Microsoft and Sony are cooking up.

It’ll be like Call of Duty 2, but with less WWII-related stuff. Probably.

Unless they reboot the franchise back into World War II. In which case I’ll leap off my apartment balcony.

I gave up cod when black ops 1 was out. The game is so boring, same graphics, engine new (but pretty much still the same stat wise) and new maps… Other games have so much to offer and people just dont see it. Well i guess thats kinda good, i dont want 5 year olds screaming at me in Halo or Battlahöög.

W-What?! A CoD game released just 1 year after the last?! They did this in 2012 too! And 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, and so forth… Huh, there must be a pattern here… Any thoughts?
