Splinter Cell Blacklist Delayed to August
Today, Ubisoft released a brand new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, along with some screenshots and the game’s box art…and also casually mentioned the game’s August 20 release date for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Wait, wha? Huh? Bwuh? I thought this game was coming out in the Spring of 2013?
Well, it’s not. The new release date is August 20, and you’re gonna LIKE IT, you son of a bee sting. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, check out the trailer above and the screens and box art below. It’s what Sam Fisher would want.

I always feel happy when devs decide to push their games back. When I hear this, I only know that they are either: putting more effort into the project, or advertisers are looking for a better release window. BioShock Infinite had me drooling when they announced the delay.
