Hitman Trilogy Confirmed by Square Enix

Yesterday’s news that an HD trilogy of Hitman games was coming out in January has been confirmed by the current license holder and publisher of the franchise, Square Enix. Indeed, as Amazon had put in its product listing, the trilogy will contain Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money, and will be released on January 29, with a February 1 release date in Europe, says a post on CVG.

The post says that Square Enix has yet to unveil any pricing information, but since Amazon’s selling it for $39.99, you can rest assured that price is probably what you’ll get when it drops.

What do you think about this? Interested in an HD compilation for Hitman? Also, did anyone see the movie? I feel like it’s one of those adaptations that just came and went…

  1. The trilogy is fine by me, but I’m not buying it. Also, I saw the movie before playing the games, and it was epic. I’d rather see a cold blooded anti-hero Agent 47 in a film than the Bonde/Bourne duo.
