Mass Effect Trilogy Launching November 9, DLC Detailed
The Mass Effect Trilogy, the compilation package that contains Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 (and a slew of DLC), has received some regional and platform-specific release dates. The collection will launch for Xbox 360 and PC on November 6 in North America, and will launch on PlayStation 3 on December 4. European launch dates are staggered by three days, with Xbox 360/PC versions launching on November 9 and the PS3 version launching on December 7.
Also, if you’re a PS3 owner simply after a copy of the original Mass Effect, a digital download of the game will be available for $14.99 on the PSN on the same day the trilogy collection comes out. That’s nice of them!
The collection also comes with some of the previously released DLC, but it varies by platform. We brought it to your attention early last month, but heck, I’m feeling pretty peppy today so I’ll break it down once more for your convenience.
If you see DLC that’s not listed, it means it’s not in the package. We tried to format the post to show what’s specifically not included in each, but it just got far too messy.

Yes, it’s as complicated as it freaking looks. Yell at Bioware/EA, not us – we’re trying to understand this ourselves.

wait…no online pass for PS3 version of ME3?…that sum bullshit tight there…
I misunderstood this upon posting — it is definitely included, just as if you bought the game new. Apologies. Article has been updated to reflect.
Isn’t this free DLC for PC owners?
WTF? It looks as if they just chose random DLC titles from a hat and threw them into these bundles. I kinda understand why the PS3 is getting the better deal (considering it launched with all that DLC,) but the PC and 360 versions should have the same crap. I already own all three games, including Cerberus Network and Bring Down the Sky DLC’s. I really have no incentive to dump more cash into this franchise.
