Gearbox Releasing Free Halloween Skins for Borderlands 2 (Updated)

Gearbox, the studio of fine ladies and gents behind the shooty-and-looty Borderlands 2, is releasing a crap-ton of SHIFT codes for the game, all of which unlock spooky Halloween-themed skins for your in-game characters.

The giveaway is already underway on the studio’s Twitter and Facebook feeds, and all codes pushed from those accounts are accessible by any player up until November 5. You’ll have to see what the window is for your time zone, but know that the celebration kicked off today at 11AM Eastern Time and concludes on November 5 at 12:55AM Eastern Time.

Remember, the codes provided below can be used by ANYONE who owns Borderlands 2 on any platform. So, have at it! To learn how to redeem codes on Gearbox’s proprietary SHIFT service, check out their FAQ.

    Golden Key codes quite frequently from Randy Pitchford’s Twitter every now and then usable via Shift.
    The Gearbox Twitter also has them but more planned out (same with B2 FB page)

    Example. Last Weekend there were 5 times posted where a golden key code would come out on the FB and the Twitter. Then Randy did a couple of random “bonus” ones that had a set amount of uses in them. So last weekend around 12 keys were available. :)
