Ubisoft Recommends Assassin’s Creed III Day-One Patch

A post on the Ubisoft Forums (SPOILERS WITHIN) reports that the day-one patch of Assassin’s Creed III (which hits stores today) is really quite a good idea. While there are spoilers in the link to the forums, we won’t be having them here. Suffice it to say, there are a number of bug fixes that the patch offers up, so it’s in your best interests to download it, you knuckleheads.

“If your Console is connected to the Internet when you launch Assassin’s Creed III, you will receive a pop up to inform you that a title update is available for you to download. This day one update is designed to optimize your player experience and is highly recommended.”

And if you’re wondering what we thought of the game, check out Billy Shibley’s review right here. He really dug it for sure, but sadly it didn’t earn his highest marks. Even still, what the heck does he know? I’mma pick up my copy later today…
