Square Enix Announces Digital Sale
As we approach the holiday time, companies are looking to make some more money. So, to that end, Square Enix has announced a sale on its online storefront, slashing prices on games through the weekend. Pretty new games like Sleeping Dogs, Kingdom Hearts 3D, and Final Fantasy VII are all being marked down for the weekend, seeing cuts of 30 to 50 percent.
Kingdom Hearts 3D, for instance, is only $28, a pretty solid price for a game that came out in July. If you’re looking for a quick holiday gift for the nerdly gamer in your life, you probably couldn’t do much better than that. The aforementioned Sleeping Dogs is at $42, another solid price for such a recent game. But basically everything on there has a slashed price: Hitman: Absolution, Dead Island, even the pre-order for next year’s Tomb Raider reboot has a price cut, which is actually kind of amazing. In short, Square Enix wants you to buy stuff, and they want you to buy it NOW.
Of course, Black Friday will be here in about a month, at which point all hell will break loose in terms of sales and whatnot. Check it out—anything on there tickling your fancy?

Sleeping Dogs was 50% off on Steam last week. And Amazon had this insane Square Bundle that was 9.99USD for SupCom 2, Deus Ex HR Augmented, Missing Link DLC for DEHR, Just Cause, Just Cause 2, Hitman Blood Money and The Last Remnant. Total value was about 120USD.
