Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks announced a forthcoming downloadable content pack for their recently released hit, Dishonored. Called “Dunwall City Trials,” the new pack will cost five dollars, and will bring ten new challenge maps and trials, as well as an arena battle mode.

The DLC is set for release in December for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, while two more DLC packs will be story-driven, and will come out in 2013. Pricing on those hasn’t been disclosed yet…so that means they’ll probably cost more than five bucks.

As for what story elements the next one will tackle, Arkane did let some of that information sneak stealthily through:

“Daud, the leader of a group of supernatural assassins known as ‘The Whalers’, will be the focus of the second add-on pack, scheduled for release in early Spring 2013. Make your way through new Dunwall locales and discover Daud’s own set of weapons, powers and gadgets in this story-driven campaign. How you play and the choices you make will impact the final outcome…”

I know Landon’s been playing the heck out of Dishonored. How about the rest of you? Digging it? Are y’all excited about some new DLC dropping down?

I guess this means I should finish the actual game soon so I don’t fall too far behind.
