Fincher-Produced Halo 4 Launch Trailer is Live
The David Fincher-produced, Tim Miller-directed launch trailer for Halo 4 premiered during Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night. Called “Scanned,” we get some brief glimpses at what may be the untold origins of Master Chief himself…and it’s pretty damn cool, if I do say so.
How awesome would a full-length Halo movie with these guys helming it be? The answer is EXTREMELY AWESOME. The special effects look good, and I like the fact that we don’t see Master Chief’s face. Apparently, the people who made the new Dredd movie went that route, keeping the infamous Judge’s helmet on throughout the whole film, rather than making him look like, you know, Sylvester Stallone.
Very cool. Between this and the Forward Unto Dawn series, it’s a good time to be a Halo fan. What do you think? Are you stoked about the new game? Have any reservations or concerns that you just can’t shake?

I almost crapped my pants watching this. Halo works perfectly in small bite sizes, like with Forward Unto Dawn and these trailers. The one thing they all hav ein common is that they don’t have that hollywood “taint” which plagues most movies nowadays. *Cough* Avengers, Expendables, Spider-Man 3, RE Series minus 1, Underworld Series minus 1 & 2 *End Cough*
