PS Store Redesign Launching on October 23
Sony has just revealed details on the change that’s coming to their PlayStation Store. Launching early for everyone in Europe on October 17th, the U.S. launch is set for the 23rd. VG247 reports that this update brings about an all new sleeker look, and introduces a new user interface that separates content into categories efficiently. This will also have the latest content highlighted more predominantly.
Not only are they leaving the blue look behind, the search function will also undergo some much needed improvements. It’ll start offering suggestions as you enter in letters in the search box, and it’ll even account for abbreviations and spelling errors. The store’s filter system will also make it so Vita, PSP and PS3 content don’t overlap if you don’t want it to.
This is all sounds great! We’re one step closer to every dashboard looking the same!
