Linkin Park Honors Our Warfighters with Game-Inspired Video

By Brian P Rubin | 10 October 2012 | 1 Comment

A few weeks ago, Electronic Arts announced a little reward if they managed to get 3 million downloads of their Metal of Honor: Warfighter beta: a special, game-inspired music video from the band Linkin Park. Seems that they indeed managed to hit 3 million, and here we are with the new video, along with a quickie introduction from Mike Shinoda, who plays rhythm guitar and keys, as well as raps for the band.

Hey, Mike! Welcome to Machinima! Thanks for swinging by! Can I get you a bottled water, or perhaps a Fresca?

That’s what I’d say to him if I’d, y’know, been there in person to see him record his intro. But I wasn’t. So there’s that.

Anyway, check out the video, let us know what you think. And did anyone out there get down with the Warfighter beta? Lay it on us below.
