Rayman Legends Delayed to 2013, No Longer Wii U Launch Title
Officially dropping from Nintendo’s launch day list for their November-releasing Wii U console is Rayman Legends, as Ubisoft has delayed the Wii U-exclusive game until Q1 of 2013. It’s been pushed back on the notion that it’s not quite ready yet, and could use just a little more time to “live up” to fan expectations.
A release statement confirms this, which says:
“We’re happy that fans are excited about the game, and we are taking the time to make sure we deliver a game that lives up to and hopefully exceeds their expectations. We’ll have more details to share soon.”
As IGN points out, this drops the still-pretty-impressive launch list for Nintendo’s console down to 22, with 12 now slated for launch on day one in the United Kingdom.
