Fox Developing TV Show Based on Battlefield: Bad Company
A post on Deadline Hollywood today reports that Fox is developing a television series based on EA’s Battlefield: Bad Company from 2008. The show’s head honcho is John Eisendrath, a former writer and producer with J.J. Abrams’ show Alias, so you know it’ll have a firm grasp of both action and character, should the project ever make it to production.
The premise would be pretty at home on TV, too, considering its characters of questionable ethics and morality and modern television’s current obsession with shows that feature just those sorts of characters (The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy, and of course, Storage Wars). The post also explains that the show is categorized as an “action comedy,” and is being developed in partnership with Sony Television and Happy Madison.
Which is Adam Sandler’s production company.
Hm. Maybe this won’t work out quite as well as it might’ve seemed.
Either way, I’ll watch it if it gets a pilot. Your thoughts?

Holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit bad company TV show? Man I haven’t been this excited since battlestar galactica was announced- oh, adam sandler.
it might be a good show but i doubt it
It has a shot, especially with those who played both campaigns. They really have to keep the banter and comedy between the characters. Especially Sweetwater and Haggard. I will watch the pilot for sure.
