Angry Birds: Star Wars Announced, Similarly-Themed Board Games Coming Too

After a bit of hinting the other day, Rovio, the creator of Angry Birds, has announced Angry Birds: Star Wars, a new game coming to iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, Mac, PC, and Windows Phone on November 8. In addition to the game, the company is apparently working with Lucasfilm to release a line of Angry Birds: Star Wars toys and/or board games.

Yes, to answer your impending question, there are already both Angry Birds and Star Wars toys/board games in existence. For some reason, we apparently also need these – because t-shirts, lunchboxes and whatever this thing is just aren’t enough to satisfy our craving for scrumptious birds with anger management issues.

The above image was found on an Amazon.de listing, and indicates that an Angry Birds: Star Wars Jenga game is in the works by Hasbro Toys. We expect more games like this will be announced in the future because, well, Angry Birds sells.
