Indie Game: The Movie on Netflix Instant
We’ve been hearing about Indie Game: The Movie for quite a while. It’s a pretty great documentary that looks at the life of the independent game developer, specifically looking at the work that went into Super Meat Boy and FEZ. While I’d read plenty about the guys who made those games, it was something else entirely to see them living and working on their projects.
Back in June, the movie was made available for purchase and download off of Steam, but as of the other day, it’s now available on Netflix Instant. I watched it for the first time last night, and I enjoyed it so much that I went ahead and finally bought FEZ today. I’d been putting off the purchase for a while, but after seeing Phil Fish toiling away, lamenting every bump in the road, it definitely made me that much more interested in how the final game turned out—bug or no bug.
So do yourself a favor and make sure you check out Indie Game: The Movie one way or another. It’s also got a pretty bitchin’ soundtrack, if you didn’t already know.
