Today, Joystiq pointed out a new addition to SyFy channel’s roster of original series: Nuclear Family, starring Parker Lewis himself, Corrin Nemec. The reason we’re writing about it? It’s premiering on the Xbox 360 app, which is actually pretty cool! The show revolves around a post-apocalyptic America with two parents searching for their missing kid after the “mysterious mega-explosion.” Yup.

The show will get started on October 1, and will run for 20 episodes. If you have an Xbox LIVE subscription, chances are you’ve got access to the SyFy app. I don’t know that I’d be as interested in this if it were simply on TV…but since it’s going to start out exclusive to my Xbox, I’ll give it a shot. After premiering on the Xbox, the show will appear on Syfy.com and Hulu, among other online content options, not to mention the Roku Syfy chanel on October 15.

Anyone else sort of intrigued here? And also: Parker Lewis!

Give me Halo Forward Unto Dawn Oct. 5th and I’ll be content. Anything else from Live is just icing. :)
