The Zone of the Enders HD Collection will be receiving a limited edition, as will Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Konami announced late last night.

The Zone of the Enders HD Collection Limited Edition (a mouthful, I know) will include the two ZOTE games, the official game soundtrack (with remixes of the original music) and a 100-page artbook.

The Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Limited Edition will include, get this, a “high frequency plasma lamp” that resembles Raiden’s in-game sword. A soundtrack is also included.

No prices have been announced for either limited edition, but GameStop currently lists the standard Zone of the Enders HD Collection at $40, leading us to believe the Limited Edition might hit close to regular retail price (read: $60). As for the Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Limited Edition, we’re not exactly in the “high frequency plasma lamps” business, so we’ll just wait until we get official word from Konami regarding price.

Anyone else really enjoying the fact that HD collections are actually not full-price? $40 seems like a striking deal to me, especially if you’re into that whole weird robot thing Zone of the Enders has going on.
