Starhawk Added to Instant Game Collection for PS Plus Subscribers

By now, it’s become routine: each couple of weeks, Sony adds another title to the Instant Game Collection for PlayStation Plus subscribers. This week, it’s the single player campaign for Starhawk. Our own Billy Shibley wasn’t too impressed, scoring it a 6 out of 10—but the commenters were even less impressed with his review, raking him over the coals for his opinions.

Now that it’s free, we all have the chance to see if Billy was on the money. SPEAKING OF MONEY (now that’s a transition), not everything is free for PlayStation Plus subscribers. According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, new game Hell Yeah! is discounted from $14.99 to $11.99, and according to preliminary reports from Lawrence Sonntag, it sounds as though he likes it. Keep your eye on the blog for the full review when he’s finished with it.

Finally, another game called Tokyo Jungle also has a 20 percent discount, costing $11.99 as well. Not bad, overall. Another benefit to having the PS Plus service. Free games, discounts…at least Sony’s got this right.
