Nintendo Announces New Black and Blue 3DS For Japan

Nintendo has announced today a new color scheme for the 3DS XL: black and blue.The thing is, it’s exclusive to Japan and will release on September 27. Depending on your geographical position, that’s a good thing or a not-so-good thing. If you’re reading this in English, well… it’s probably not.

The newly-colored 3DS XL has a blue exterior casing with a solid black interior, and joins the other handhelds in red/black, silver/black, pink/white, and all black or all white.

And if you’re looking for a good 3DS game to pair up with that new 3DS XL, might I suggest New Super Mario Bros. 2? Our own Brian Rubin found it quite dashing.
