Though it’s been available for purchase since 2008 on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, and more recently  on digital shelves like the Xbox Marketplace, Steam, and Origin, DICE’s parkour-focused Mirror’s Edge will be available on the final frontier, the PSN, starting September 25.

The announcement was made via the most recent Official PlayStation Blogcast (via Joystiq), where features for the download were detailed, but a price was, unfortunately, not. Given that it’s available for $15-$20 on all previously listed online platforms, we’re confident that the PSN price will fall somewhere in that range.

In other Mirror’s Edge news, that sequel you’ve all been waiting for might be happening… but likely not anytime soon.

Think of it this way, it’ll make for a good 95th Birthday present.

Moving this game to the PS3? Yeah, I think it’s safe to say they are thinking ahead of the game. With Mirror’s Edge on both platforms, they’ll be ready to launch a sequel on the PS360, and maybe Wii U. Can’t wait!!
