Guild Wars 2 is Coming to Mac
After successfully selling over 2 Million units following its late-August launch, Guild Wars 2 is coming to Mac, publisher NCsoft announced this morning. In even better news, anyone who purchased the game will have full access to the ongoing Mac beta.
The Mac beta client will be released soon, as it’s still being optimisized, but will allow its users to connect to live servers and play with any Windows-based computers, should they so desire. When the beta is ready, codes will be redeemable through the Guild Wars 2 account management site.
If you want to learn more about why this MMO is making waves in the gaming world, be sure to check out our first and second impressions on the game so far. As it stands, we’re pretty impressed with what ArenaNet has accomplished here.
And in a post-WoW world where anything and everything is an MMO (and likely free-to-play), that’s certainly something to boast about.
And hey, you can play as Charr, those crazy, ravenous looking beast fellows. Those guys are the definition of cool.
