A post on the PlayStation Blog yesterday revealed yet another solid couple of games to be added to PS Plus subscribers’ Instant Game Collections: this time around, it’s downloadable classic Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and the brand new, HD-remake Double Dragon Neon.

The games seem to have just gone live a few minutes ago (as I’ve been checking to see when they go on the store periodically all day). I bought Scott Pilgrim way back when, and while it’s a good game, it’s tough! Interestingly, it’s very similar in vein to the original style of Double Dragon, so that it’s paired with the HD-remake of the classic beat’em up can’t be a coincidence. Looking forward to getting going on that one…

Each of those games cost ten dollars for non-subscribers. And hey! Subscribers will also have week-early access to the HD-remake of the Dreamcast classic Jet Set Radio too. It’s a good day for retro-style gaming on the PlayStation 3.

Speaking of scott pilgrim….what about putting him in ps allstars as a dlc character….I know he was on both 360 and ps3 but it would still be awesome as scott pilgrim was an awesome game…
