Following the recent announcement and implementation of a $100 submission fee for Valve’s Steam Greenlight service, the company has stated that it (Greenlight) will “continue to evolve” going forward. Valve UI designer Alden Kroll mentioned to Gamasutra that he and the rest of the Greenlight team aren’t even close to complete in regards to making changes to the service.

“We have a huge list of suggestions from customers and the lessons we’ve learned from shipping,” Kroll mentioned, “so Greenlight will definitely continue to evolve over the next weeks and months as we tune the system and add valuable features.”

While many have debated the fairness (or rather, the effectiveness) of the newly implemented fee, it’ll certainly make trolls think twice before throwing their sloppy, unwanted submissions up on Greenlight.
