Machinarium Now Available in Europe on PlayStation 3, Coming to US Soon

Machinarium was rumored to be coming to the PlayStation platform sooner-or-later, but it appears the wishes of orphaned, PS3-owning, adventure game-loving children have been granted: the game is now available on PlayStation 3 via the European PlayStation Network.

Dubbed the “Ultimate Edition” by the game’s developer, Amanita Design, this PS3 version comes with a mess of upgrades, like full trophy support and the ability to zoom in and out on the field of view.

Machinarium will cost you 7.99€ / £6.49, and is free for PlayStation Plus users. The US version will be along soon enough, according to Amanita, alongside launches in other regions too.

Since the game is already available on the PC, Mac, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and a currently in-the-works Vita version, it’s only a matter of time before we catch wind of a TI-83 Calculator Edition of the game. Finally, something more fun than ‘Block Man’ to play in class.
