To be honest, I haven’t had much interest in this game—until now. Seeing this video has definitely changed my opinion. If nothing else, this looks like a pretty bitchin’ strategizer. Hopefully there’ll be a demo available before the game is released on October 9 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC so I can try it out and see whether or not I’ll be, you know, terrible at it.

Oh, and hey! Sid Meier puts in an appearance, too! Oh, XCOM. You crazy alien game.
