The absolutely wonderful Xbox Live Arcade smash-hit Trials Evolution will be revving its way out of the Xbox and onto computers screens everywhere when the “gold edition” cruises onto PCs next year.
Trials Evolution: Gold Edition will release in 2013 for PC, and will include everything from the current game, all original tracks from Trials HD (bringing the track count to a ridiculous 129), as well as the insanely proficient and awe-inspiring track editor that the Trials community has used to accomplish some gosh-dang amazing feats of design.
In news related to the Xbox 360 version of Trials Evolution, the game’s first DLC, ‘Origin of Pain’, was announced today by Ubisoft and RedLynx. The pack will include new content in the form of 36 new courses spanning across, volcanic, industrial, Egyptian, and circus-themed environments on the island of Paine. Yes, Paine Island.
In addition to that, players will get new tricks and tools for the track editor in the form of “teleporting, gun firing, switch filters and vector math,” as well as ten new multiplayer tracks to decimate your friends on.
Finally, purchasers of the new DLC will also receive a new BMX dirt bike to ride… or rather, smash their faces into the dirt with.
‘Origin of Pain’ will run you 400 MS Points and will be available later in October for Xbox 360 owners. However, Ubisoft has stated that the Origin of Pain DLC will not be included in the PC version, at least not at launch.
