Minecraft ‘Adventure Update’ on Xbox 360 ‘still weeks away’ from release

We know you’re really excited about the Adventure Update for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, the update that adds NPC villages, deeper caves and mineshafts, a creative mode, and a plethora of bug fixes, but it simply won’t be coming out for a few weeks.

4J Studios, the creative team behind the Xbox Live Arcade port of Minecraft, has announced today on Twitter that the update is “still weeks away.”

So, everyone, just relax – it’s not like you’re out of things to do in Minecraft. If you are, give this, this, this, or even this a try. We’re pretty sure you won’t be bored.

But when that Adventure Update does come along… well, let’s just say we have no problem pushing all social activities to the wayside.

    NPC villages? So if i trap them behind a wall can i be their king?

    The ‘Adventure Update’ ruins Minecraft in my opinion. Hunger bar, potions, enchanting, regenerating health, it all makes the game much easier and not as fun as the older versions.

    I can’t wait to get iron bars because im making a prison for wolfs, pigs, zombies, creepers and chickens… or are they ducks? haha!
