Take a Journey with this New Hardcover Book

A post on the PlayStation Blog yesterday revealed that Journey, the latest artsy-fartsy (and I say that with genuine love for the game) title from thatgamecompany, will be getting the hardcover book treatment. You know when you make a hardcover book all about a video game that it is RESPECTABLE. Journey didn’t need any help in that regard, but it’s getting the book anyway. Now everyone who sits at your coffee table will know how cool this game is.

The game’s art director, Matt Nava, wrote and designed the book, called The Art of Journey, but no release date or price has yet been announced. However, the post does say that it’ll have some AR components. After downloading a smartphone or tablet app, you can use your device’s camera to activate animated 3D models on your screen.
