Take a Look at Peter Molyneux’s Next Video Game Thing

By Landon Robinson | 23 August 2012 | 2 Comments

Though no longer employed by Microsoft through its development studio Lionhead, Fable designer Peter Molyneux has been hard at work on his own little experiment with a new company called 22 Cans. While we can’t show you the giant stack of cans that likely sits triumphantly atop the team’s office building, we can show you footage of Molyneux’s project in-progress.

The video above comes from Molyneux’s presentation and live demo of what he’s calling Curiosity, which took place at the Unite 2012 conference, an event for Unity developers to talk about…well, Unity related stuff.

Without spoiling it for you, it’s a little black cube on an iPad. Or…is it more than that? I’ll leave the rest of the presentation viewing as an exercise.

Oh, and Curiosity will be out in September, so look forward to that if you can tear your selfish fingers away from Angry Birds for once.

Lol how is this guy still in the gaming industry? I’m wondering if it’s for the laugh-factor. So many ridiculous broken promises over the last 10 years…

In his defense, I really liked The Movies.

In support of your statement, I only really liked The Movies. :|
