If you’re still bringing down turrets and bashing in skulls in Awesomenauts, well do we have good news for you: the next DLC character Gnaw has finally been released for the PC version of the game. In addition to this update, developer Ronimo has developed a very interesting anti-anti-cheat system for their multiplayer matchmaking.

The new character Gnaw is available for use upon installation of the update on Steam, and uses special “slimy goo” powers to take on opponents:

“Vomitting his way onto the battlefield this little menace will infest whole areas with slimy goo and flesh eating plants. So roll up the windows of your spacecraft and keep your arms and legs within the vehicle, because Gnaw is entering the arena today.”

In regards to the recent cheating that’s been occurring in the game’s matchmaking, Ronimo Games has developed a new system that will track cheaters within the game. If you’re caught cheating, you won’t be simply banned or wrist-slapped for your crimes – you’ll instead be placed into a subtle matchmaking system that pits you against other cheaters. They’re calling it the “ima-cheater-and-I-wanna-play-against-my-cheating-buddies-league.”

The beauty of it all: you won’t even know you’ve been placed there.

Freaking brilliant, just brilliant.
