More Project Copernicus Videos Surface Online
Remember 38 Studios? Of course you do—how could you forget? Every week or two, another bit of news or tidbit surfaces that forces us to talk all about the Rhode Island-based studio that folded a few months ago after spending all of its government issued loan money without actually finishing a single game.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, was actually made by Big Huge Games, a subsidiary of 38 Studios that was revamped so as to pave the way for the MMO 38 had devoted four years’ worth of development to, a game known only as Project Copernicus. And over the last couple days, one of the guys who was working on the game has posted a few videos of what the team was working on. One’s here. One’s here. It’s a game we’ll never see, and as pretty as it is, and as hard as the team worked…it’s not like we’ve got a shortage of cool video games to play, right?
Still, if you’re interested in what could’ve been, if only a particular former baseball pitcher were a little bit better at business, take a look…
