Rumor: Dragon Age 3 Survey Leaks Details on Story, Characters, and Title
Over on the official Bioware community forums, a user claims to have participated in a distributed survey regarding potential game-related content for Dragon Age 3. The alleged survey goes into detail about story synopsis, character art, and even possible titles for the third iteration in the Dragon Age franchise.
The game will allegedly be called Dragon Age 3, or will be followed by any of the following sub-titles: The Breach, Exarch, Inquisition, Inquisitor or Apocrypha.
As for the synopsis, the survey spins the tale of “The Inquisitor”, the character you’ll reportedly play as in Dragon Age 3 as he investigates mysterious plans to destroy the “Chantry” and, ultimately, cause uproar. Playable classes include rogue, warrior, or mage, and up to ten possible companions can be chosen from to aide you on your quest.
Earthborn_Shepard, another forum user, was kind enough to snap some screenshots of the survey, which you can find posted over on the NeoGAF forums along with a complete roundup of all the rumored tidbits.
It should be stated that Bioware has yet to announce the next Dragon Age game officially, and has only hinted at it in the past – so believe at your own discretion, young grasshopper.

I doubt Dragon Age 3 is going to do well. Bioware has already pissed fans off enough with the half-assed game that was Dragon Age 2, The Old Republic’s bad support, and the dumbing down and ending of Mass Effect 3. Unless EA gives Bioware a lot of time to develop Dragon Age 3, which they didn’t do for Dragon Age 2 or Mass Effect 3, it’s going to just be another nail in the coffin.
An Inquisitor for the Chantry who can be a Mage? That sounds too far-fetched.
This had better be another Dragon Age: Origins, or there will be hell to pay.
So long and thanks for all the fish. but seriously though, this sounds like it only connects to DA2 in story board. since we all agree that origins was in fact the better game, one can only think what would have happened if they had actually connected origins, DA2, and DA3. Honestly, I was expecting to see DA3 have Flemeth as the main villain.
[As civil would rage across the land from the mages to the leading governments and templars, there would be signs that the next blight was about to happen. However, blights happen every hundred years or so, this particular blight only seems strange and out of place. Flemeth herself, as stated by Morigan, has transformed herself into something else. What if that something else was a corrupted old god, aka an Archdemon. You yourself would play as Hawke and journey out with companions from old and anew trying to either help the mages or show them the corruption of their ways. But there is one new companion amongst you, a mage who claims that he knows another way to stop the darkspawn hordes and Flemeth. This mage would be Morigan's son, or your son if you fucked her. He not only knows away to stop her but is part old god.]
Now thats a DA3 story in my opinion.
Actually, now that I realize it, my version is almost the same story in Skyrim. That just goes to show I guess.
I’ll see what the reviews are then make my decision. I do not want another Dragon Age 2.
