Rumor: COD Black Ops 2 Coming to Wii U
It appears that, like Call of Duty titles before it, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 might be releasing on a Nintendo home console, more specifically the Wii U.
Based on a quote from the LinkedIn resume of a QA game tester at Treyarch, duties involved in the job include: “QA testing on PS3 and Wii U, multiplayer testing while collaborating with team, ad hoc testing, and regression.”
Neither Treyarch nor its publisher Activision have confirmed supported platforms for the game outside of PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, so it’s hard to call this one for sure.
If the game is slated to come out for Wii U, we’ll likely know by either the launch of Wii U later this year, or the launch of the game in November — whichever comes first.
COD: BLOPS 2 Wii U…still the top nominee for silliest-sounding game of 2012.
