Catwoman Announced for Injustice: Gods Among Us
Catwoman. She’s a lady, dresses like a cat, has a whip and claws and stuff. And she knocks boots with Batman sometimes. Guess what? She’s the latest character to be revealed as a combatant in WB Interactive and Netherrealm Studios’ DC Comics fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us. If you haven’t yet, take a look at these super-duper high resolution screenshots from the game.
Now, look. I got no problem with Catwoman at all. She’s fine character, and has been a part of both Batman’s and DC Comics’ universes for a long, long time. But the costume she’s wearing in these screenshots—hoo boy, that is dumb looking. It’s like some kind of techno-corset situation. I don’t understand how that outfit is going to a) help her cat-burgle or b) help her fight. There’s tons of exposed skin. I bet that hurts more.
I totally get that the things characters wear in video games—especially fighting games—totally defy logic. That’s fine. But it’s not as though there aren’t, like, a hundred costumes that Catwoman has worn in comic books, movies, and television shows. None of them look like that. She looks dumb.
Okay. End rant.
Catwoman!

It’s not too bad.
I just hope they bring in Bane.
I’d much rather prefer a more TDKR looking suit instead of a “Steampunk”-ish looking like this one.
Or how about and this is just a possibility but how about THE ACTUAL FUCKING COSTUME FROM THE COMICS!
