PlayStation All-Stars Delayed Until Late November
Sony’s upcoming fighter, PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, has been delayed by a month to November 20, 2012 in North America, followed by a released on November 21 in Europe, November 22 in Australia, and finally in the United Kingdom and Ireland on November 23.
The cross-franchise fighter was previously slated for launch in late October, but the development team at SuperBot has now made mention of its new plans:
“This [delay] will enable us to spend more time polishing, tuning and incorporating some of the great feedback from the current limited beta to ensure we are creating the best possible fighting game experience.
While it is our greatest desire to put this game into the hands of our fans as soon as possible, we do not want to do so at the sake of quality. We feel the additional time will be well worth the wait, and are excited to know that our fans will have the ultimate brawler in time for the holiday.”
They also mention that fans should “keep an eye on Gamescom” thoughout the week, as they’ve got some “big announcements” lined up regarding the game. However, it’s possible that we’ve already had these surprises spoiled for us, thanks to more than a handful of unconfirmed leaks on NeoGaf and Reddit earlier this month.
Oh, Internet – you and your ups and downs.
