Sackboy, Raiden, Ratchet and Crash Bandicoot Seen in Newest PlayStation All-Stars Leak
Another Internet leak has once again let fly some early, unrevealed details about Sony’s upcoming franchise-fighter, PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale – this time revealing new characters in Sackboy (of LittleBigPlanet), Raiden ( of Metal Gear Rising) and Ratchet (of Ratchet & Clank).
These characters were briefly available for viewing on the game’s official website today before being promptly removed. In addition to the inclusion of potential box art for the game on the site, a NeoGAF user happened to spot Ryu Hayabusa (from Ninja Gaiden) as well as Kazuya and Jin (both from Tekken) in the background of a character roster image.
Wait, what’s this that was posted on Reddit? Zoom in on that roster picture. Enhance, enhance!
Jiminy Christmas. It’s Crash Bandicoot.
Given that Sony’s Gamescom press conference is right around the corner, it’s pretty probable that we’ll see many, if not all of the leaked information from this leak and last month’s beta leak in the publisher’s showcase in Germany.
Come to think of it, this could all be one elaborate marketing campaign by Sony, tricking us all into thinking that these leaks are just crafty Internet folk with a taste for conspiracy, when really it was all directed by Sony’s hand the entire time in an attempt to build hype for one of their games!
Or it’s just a regular leak – that could, you know, also be the case.
